Speaking at Brilliant Minds - where great minds gathers
Susanne Gløersen, founder of The Future is Fungi Award spoke and moderated the session “Can fungi save the world?” at Brilliant Minds in Stockholm mid June, together with Phil Ross (co-founder of MycoWorks and OpenFung) and Renee Davis (recent R&D Director with Fungi Perfecti and now pursuing doctoral work with environmental engineering with fungi). Brilliant Minds each year gathers creatives and entrepreneurs for game changing solutions for impact.
This years theme was “Discovery” - what better theme for fungi as we know the vast majoriity of the fungal world is still undiscovered, just waiting for us to explore and seize its potential for solutions that puts humanity on a more regenerative path.
Other speakers and moderators were Adam Grant, Eric Schmidt (former CEO of Google), Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, Beatrice York, Gunhild Stordalen of EAT Foundation, Jay Shettay, Kevin Durant and Lindsey Vonn to mention some of the them.
